You are authorized to issue unaltered ACORD certificates of insurance on the most current ACORD version and only as evidence of insurance coverage. Prior authorization is required from the Commercial Division of Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc. before you may release any policy document amending coverage. This includes, but is not limited to, Additional Insured Endorsements as well as the wording for the additional insureds. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of any certificate or evidence issued.
The Commercial Division offers online Additional Insured Endorsement requests for both the Commercial Package and Commercial Auto programs. Log onto Arrowhead Exchange and select Create/Manage Endorsements. Once you request an endorsement you will receive an email response typically within one business day that either approves/declines the endorsement or requests additional information. You may also check the status of your request by searching for the policy number, endorsement number, date submitted or status of the endorsement. Your endorsement will be processed within two business days and will be available online in your Daily Print and in Policy Inquiry within one business day of issuance.
Certificates may be issued by you using the current ACORD certificate form only as evidence of insurance. You can include reference to the certificate holder as an additional insured provided such coverage has been granted under the policy. Certificates are not valid if the ACORD form is altered, including but not limited to:
