Chubb recently polled 1,202 Americans, ages 20 – 65, who started working remotely as a result of COVID-19. Here’s what they found:
Work Habits
37% are more productive
37% are working longer hours
46% are working the same hours
17% are working 10+ hours more per week
60% are distracted and frustrated by lower productivity thanks to family, pets, or housemates
43% are able to keep work and family separate
74% would like to work from home more in the future
46% are ignoring cyber threats, for the most part
68% are concerned about their financial wellbeing
(most likely due to poorer ergonomics at home)
Play time
79% are having the same or more contact with friends
56% are watching more TV
82% are exercising at least the same or more
34% are reading more
79% are spending the same or more time playing video games
Eating & drinking
36% are eating more
42% are snacking more
5% are not dieting
23% are drinking less
26% are drinking more
50% are drinking the same amount
